Rocks Lounge inside Red Rock Resort has been the site for many of Mix 94.1′s Underground Lounge Performances this summer. These initimate acoustic performances allow fans to not only hear their favorite songs stripped down and acoustic, but also get to know the artists as they talk about their music, life, and more. From the enegetic performance from [lastfm link_type=""]Grace Potter and the Nocturnals [/lastfm]to the chill vibe from [lastfm link_type=""]O.A.R.[/lastfm], each of these sessions have been epic, and on Friday 07.15.11, [lastfm link_type=""]Neon Trees [/lastfm]were no different. [photogallerylink id=45880 align=right] From Tyler Glenn’s suprisingly raw yet clear vocal ability to Elaine Bradley’s to compliment harmony vocal work with solid drumming, the whole lounge was an amazing showcase revealing true talent that often can get overlooked in a big stage show or polished CD. The band spoke of their early days hanging out together at an In-N-Out Burger, to travel the world. Pomai even got bassist and Vegas local Branden Campbell talk about living here, growing up here, and having his dad call the station to request Neon Tree’s songs!
