Adele Speaks About Her Vocal Surgery

There are more details on Adele’s new boyfriend Simon Konecki.
Simon is thirteen years older than Adele at 36. He also has a 5-year-old daughter with his ex-wife. Simon was technically still married but in the process of a divorce when he and Adele got together.
But at the time, Adele blogged to clear the air and wrote: “Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts.”
Adele and Simon met last summer and she has already met his family.
By the way, Simon’s a co-founder of Life Water, a founding trustee of the charity drop4drop and attended Eton College, the same school as Princes William and Harry.

Adele opened up about her major vocal chord surgery and explained the problems started when her voice simply “went” out.
She said: “It felt like someone put a curtain over my throat. It felt like something popped in my throat. I had laser surgery. They put lasers down your throat, cut off the polyp, and kind of laser your hemorrhage back together and fix it.”
“I had an application on my phone that you type the words into it and then it speaks it. But the great thing is I love to swear. Most of the apps you can’t swear on, but I found this one app where you can swear, so I’m still really getting my point across.”

Just a day after Karl Lagerfeld’s controversial comments about Adele’s weight, Adele didn’t hold back on her response to what he said.
Adele said she is “proud” of her image as a representative of real women and that she’s never aspired to look like the type of women that Lagerfeld sends down his catwalks.
She said: “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.’”

Karl Lagerfeld “backpedalled” on his comments about Adele being “fat”.
He said: “I’d like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought.
“What I said was in relation to Lana Del Rey and the sentence has since been taken out of context from how it was originally published. I actually prefer Adele, she is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her. I lost over 30 kilos over 10 years ago and have kept it off. I know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance. Adele is a beautiful girl. She is the best. And I can’t wait for her next CD.”
