It’s officially that time of year again . . . time to begin speculating on who the “American Idol” judges will be next season.

E! News reports that none of the judges are locked down, even though RANDY JACKSON and STEVEN TYLER could still return.

The producers are MOST interested in bringing JENNIFER LOPEZ back . . . but it sounds like she wants to move on.

Regardless, “Idol” could be looking at adding SEVERAL new judges . . . and supposedly, they already have some names on their wish list.

“Sources” say they’re considering Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Fergie and Will.I.Am.

That’s not all.  E! claims Fox is interested in making ADAM LAMBERT a judge . . . which is an odd choice, since he was just a runner-up when he was on the show.

Adam WOULD be interested in the gig, of course.  He says, quote, “If ‘Idol’ wants to talk to me about judging, I’d be more than flattered to have that conversation.”

This is all speculation at this point.  No one from “Idol” has commented . . . and they probably won’t until they have something concrete to say.
