How To Help The Families Of Sandy Hook Elementary School Tragedy

Many of us are in shock and left feeling helpless following the horrific tragedy that struck the tight knit community of Newtown, Connecticut, this past Friday.

A lot of questions still remain unanswered, but if you’d like to offer support and show your sympathy to the students, teachers, and other people at Sandy Hook, you can send a letter to:

And if you’d like to contribute even more, here are some other ways you can help.

The Sandy Hook School Support Fund, an official fund for victims’ families and the community as a whole, has now been set up by the United Way of Western Connecticut. All donations to this fund will go directly to those affected.

The Newtown Parent Connection is assisting with support services, workshops and grief counseling.

The Newtown Memorial Fund is taking donations for the families and community affected. They are also looking for volunteers and help of all kinds.

Emilie Parker Fund – A fund has also been set up to help the family of 6 year old Emilie Parker. Instructions on the Emilie Parker Memorial Account at America First Credit Union (account #5001359).
