Friday, November 13th, 2015, cowards stormed through Paris, France, taking the lives of 130 innocents, and injuring hundreds more. Of all the venues of shootings and bombings, no location saw more bloodshed than the Le Bataclan theatre, where American rock-band Eagles Of Death Metal (co-founded by one of the members of Queens Of The Stone Age).
The vibe within the theatre was joyous and jubilant prior to the attack that killed nearly 90 people. The band, like the fans, found themselves scurrying for safety in the midst of total confusion.
Vice got a chance to sit down with the band as they recount what happened that fateful night – and convey their wishes to return to the theatre.
