§ Golfer Tiger Woods was arrested for DUI in Jupiter, Florida over the weekend.
§ However, he is denying that alcohol is to blame.
§ He said he had an “unexpected reaction to prescribed medications” and that he didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected him so strongly.
§ He has apologized to his friends, family and fans, saying “I expect more from myself.”
§ He also promised to do everything in his power to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.
§ Study shows that cutting calories might help slow down the aging process.
§ Calorie restriction has been linked to the slowing down of biological ageing, which means you might be able to hang on to your youthful looks a little longer.
§ People that restricted their caloric intake by 25% saw a biological age increase of about .11 years in a year.
§ People that kept their diets the same saw a rise by an average of .71 years
§ The Washington Nationals’ Bryce Harper got into a Memorial Day brawl with San Francisco Giants pitcher Hunter Strickland.
§ He was hit with a 98 mph ball in the eighth inning on his hip.
§ Harper threw his helmet and charged the mound as benches cleared.
§ Strickland claims to have been wanting the pitch to go inside home plate.
§ The MLB is reviewing the incident and both players were ejected.
§ Spelling champions from across the country are preparing to compete this week at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
