§ Unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather will fight UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor in a cross-sport fight.
§ It’s happening on Aug. 26th here in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
§ Mayweather and McGregor will fight at 154 pounds.
§ Sports books have made Mayweather a minus -1100 favorite with McGregor at plus-700.

§ KISS frontman Gene Simmons is awaiting a response from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office after he filed an application on Friday to trademark the “devil horns” hand gesture.
§ According to Simmons, the hand gesture was first used in commerce on Nov. 14th, 1974, which corresponds with KISS’ “Hotter Than Hell” tour.
§ Simmons is claiming the hand gesture mark for “entertainment, namely, live performances by a musical artist; personal appearances by a musical artist.”
§ He may have a battle on his hands…John Lennon uses the gesture on the cover for the Beatles’ 1966 single, “Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby.”
